I agree with a lot of what's been said- not only was Steven's performance as Trevor amazing but I think Trevor for all his faults has to be one of the most progressive and well rounded characters Rockstar's ever created. I really liked the fact that he didn't fall into that trap that GTA protagonists usually fall into of 'Ho hum, guess I got to go kill all of these people, don't really want to be doing this'. No, he actively pursues chaos and he does it so brilliantly. From the first initial trailer he looked a bit like a caricature of a meth dealer but he turned out to be so much more- a loving friend and uncle, a protector and loyal to the end. Deadset one of my favourite characters of all time. Well said! I completely agree with you. I think what is also interesting about Trevor is that he has a lot of pain within him, people who do not pay much attention will just say Trevor is crazy, but you get to see an insight as to what causes some of his instability and insecurities. Yet with all his inner pain, he as you said, is a loving friend and uncle, a protector and loyal to the end. I also like how Rockstar have developed a character with an androgynous sexuality, Trevor doesn't care, he just does what makes him happy. Oh absolutely- he's so multifaceted and complex, it's amazing. In regards to his sexuality, I love how it's not a massive part of his story arc and he doesn't have it as his one defining feature; while it is a part of who he is, it just sort of there and he just gets on with life, happy in being who he is. Who'd have thunk it that Rockstar of all companies would go on to create one of the most realistic queer characters in major media?

"In regards to his sexuality, I love how it's not a massive part of his story arc..." I agree, save further exploration of that for his SPIN OFF GAME (you just know Rockstar's gonna do it!) I've never had bad-boy syndrome - and have certainly never been enamored of violent men - for me, the mass appeal of Trevor to so many women is utterly fascinating. I'd love to get to the bottom of the whole gestalt. I think we can all agree... ...Steven's portrayal, his looks, his voice, body language, etc, all play a part - but...like...I mean...this guy has sex with the eye hole of a teddy bear in girl's panties for Christ sake! (Trevor, I mean, !)
