...and I was instantly mesmerized. What impressed (and sort've disturbed ) me was how drawn I was to this character, how I even experienced moments of heart aching sympathy for him (Patricia!) , despite the fact I'd just seen him pull a tooth out of a guy's face with a pair of pliers. Any actor who can pull off this kind of multifaceted duality is something very special in my book. I howl with lament that Vince Gilligan missed out on Mr. Ogg for a featured role in Breaking Bad - can you imagine the possibilities! Still sifting through YouTube clips of Steven's other stuff, but at present, Trevor still rocks my world. 8-) I hope to God Rockstar creates a Trevor Phillips spin off game!

They need to definitely try and add more to Trevor's back story, that's for sure. I don't even care about being biased but Trevor is honestly one of my all time favourite game characters/personalities of all time. It just goes to show how well Steven acted the part out, both vocally and physically, that you can make a maniac into an unlikely sex symbol.

Oh my GOD. I cannot imagine Vince Gilligan as Trevor. I never knew that!
I think the writing for Trevor (and everyone else) was great. Steven just brought him to life so well, and I ended up feeling quite sorry for Trevor at times even though he is an absolute nutter. I am so on that DLC when it comes out.

I hope I wasn't the only one flailing inside on the first play-through of the game, when the Kourtz center mission came up and Trevor came back... I was almost crying. The writing for this game is phenomenal and everything is so detailed. I think more bits are being added without us even knowing, I wouldn't put it past Rockstar to add extra bg dialogue here and there or even just extra detailing on the streets, hidden gems and the like.

Yes yes yes to you both, DDgirl, Krystal (no, I meant Vince Gilligan, the writer/creator of Breaking Bad - couldn't you just see Steven in that series, Screeee! ) Anyway, I was reading the Ogg board at IMBD and some girl had posted at how disturbed she was that she'd found Trevor attractive, and asked if she was the only one. There were a slew of replies of women confessing to being in love with Trevor and creeped out by him at the same time, AHHahahahaaa! Oh dear...

I appreciate actors that can pull off complex characters, portray a complete nutjob yet you can still love the character and get a feel for their background. Trevor is my all time favourite character, he has brought many laughs yet has been terrifying at the same time. You can also feel sorry for him, have empathy for him despite his instability and terrible psychotic temper! It is wonderfully odd, I felt drawn to him from the start, therefore drawn to Steven for being able to portray him.

I think it comes with utter talent at both the writers and the actors who play these roles that make you feel drawn to them. You can't say that about all that many actors these days, who just seem flaky, processed and forced in the majority of roles. This is why I think Steven is an utter delight to watch. Trevor's such a complex character, and to me, that's honestly an amazing thing. There's so many levels to this character and I think in a way, we've only scratched part of the surface of him.

Shep, , beautifully said, my thoughts exactly. I am seriously chomping at the bit for a GTA Trevor side game - remember how involved people got with Carl of GTA4? I was listening to a GTA5 interview with Steven - he spoke about wanting to even further explore Trevor's more, ermm, tender side, if you will - but the writers thought it would be too confusing, if I'm not mistaken. With a Trevor only game, this wouldn't be an issue - I really predict Rockstar will do it. It would make MILLION$! The character is so charismatic & popular!

I would absolutely love there to be a Trevor only game, I definitely think Trevor's character should be explored more in depth, and as Krystel said, we've only just scratched the surface. I once had an amazing compliment from a friend, it was a long message but at the end he added: "Most people are like the randoms on the street...no character whatsoever, but you are like Trevor, a well fleshed out and developed character complete with pains, sorrows, quirks, and happily odd moments. It's something you should take pride in, dear friend. You are a person with worth and purpose." I will always remember that, it has got to be the best compliment I have ever received and he hit the nail on the head describing Trevor.
I remember how involved people got with Carl, I played the crap out of that game!

Do you think that the DLC will give us more Trevor/Michael story ? because it's true that Trevor is an interesting character, and very deep. Plus, his story with Michael is "weird", from best friends to foes ..

I agree with a lot of what's been said- not only was Steven's performance as Trevor amazing but I think Trevor for all his faults has to be one of the most progressive and well rounded characters Rockstar's ever created. I really liked the fact that he didn't fall into that trap that GTA protagonists usually fall into of 'Ho hum, guess I got to go kill all of these people, don't really want to be doing this'. No, he actively pursues chaos and he does it so brilliantly. From the first initial trailer he looked a bit like a caricature of a meth dealer but he turned out to be so much more- a loving friend and uncle, a protector and loyal to the end. Deadset one of my favourite characters of all time.

I think what is also interesting about Trevor is that he has a lot of pain within him, people who do not pay much attention will just say Trevor is crazy, but you get to see an insight as to what causes some of his instability and insecurities. Yet with all his inner pain, he as you said, is a loving friend and uncle, a protector and loyal to the end. I also like how Rockstar have developed a character with an androgynous sexuality, Trevor doesn't care, he just does what makes him happy.

Love, love, LOVE the idea of a Trevor/Michael/Brad? Backstory game! Of course, I hafta enlist hubby and others to play them for me, as I'm completely fuddled at using PS4 - or anything since PAC man, for that matter, ![lol](//storage.proboards.com/5733271/images/6mZ5ovwZ2zJqYsoTluk8.gif) ! When he (we) settled in to play GTA5, he installed in on the large flat screen, so, for me, it was like watching a movie! Of course, Trevor became our immediate favorite. It's a longtime GTA tradition to "kill" the hookers after you've had sex with them, and get your money back - we went round and round over this one! "NOOoooooo - don't make Trevor do that!!!". Gads - you get so involved with that character! T is anything but one dimensional!

I have a feeling they go with a North Yankton DLC since a lot of code for the area is said to be already in the game! (Parts we didn't get time to explore on the very first mission). I would personally love the change of enviroment from Los Santos to something a bit gritty. I would love to see more from the boys pasts. That said they might go with something completely different and surprise us all which wouldn't be a bad thing at all. I wonder what rememberable lines will have from Trevor and Steven this time? XDD
